If you selected BYOD (Bring In your own iPad), please drop them off at the WMS Tech Office during the scheduled times below. The iPads will be imaged and distributed in homerooms in the first week of school.
It is important to review the checklist below to limit the chances of delaying the setup.
Drop off sessions will be held at the WMS Technology Office:
Monday 8/26 from 7:00AM-11:00 AM
Tuesday 8/27 from 7:30AM-11:00 AM
Label with Student Name, Parent Name, Phone number, Student’s Grade, Students Homeroom (If Known)
The iPad needs to be an iPad Air 2 WiFi 32 GB or better. (Note that this iPad may not last the full 3 years of middle school due to Apple discontinuing iOS updates. If Apple stops supporting the iPad model the family will need to get a newer model or select a different option.)
Please be sure to use this checklist before dropping off your iPad.
Make sure it is in a case (not the new box)
Backup any data (iPad will be wiped)
Remove iTunes/iCloud accounts
Remove any email accounts
No charging cables will be taken in
iPad should be charged
