Dear HunneBates,
The month of March is a busy one on the HunneBates calendar. We look forward to several opportunities for families to visit and learn more about their child’s experience in school. Please note the upcoming events:
Book Fair: Week of March 6
Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their class next week. In addition, the Book Fair is open on Tuesday night from 6-8 pm for families to drop-in to shop for books. As a reminder, we maintain a scholarship fund to support full participation for all students in our special programs. Please call me at 781-446-6260 or email jolleya@wellesleyps.org if you would like to confidentially request financial assistance for your child to purchase books at the Book Fair.
Literacy Nights
The Wellesley Public Schools is excited to host three Family Literacy Nights, open to all Wellesley Public School elementary families. Please see the this documentfor dates and locations. Families can choose the date and location most convenient for them. The first evening is next week. A light dinner will be provided.
HunneBates in Bloom: March 15
All families are invited to HunneBates in Bloom on Wednesday, March 15 from 8:30 – 9:15 am. Our students are so excited to share with you all of their hard work. If you are not able to attend on the 15th, please let your child’s teacher know.
Spring Conferences
Each family is invited to attend a spring conference with their child’s teacher. Conferences begin Tuesday, March 28. Please note that Tuesday, March 28 is also an early release day for elementary students for conferences. Links to sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher will be emailed on Wednesday, March 8 at 12:00 pm.
