Every seven years, we need to adjust the payroll calendar to accommodate the leap year impact to the number of payroll weeks in a year.  Typically, this is done at the start of our school year.

In addition to setting the first payroll date for school year employees, all July to June employees will be impacted by this shift. In school year 2019-2020 you received your entire annual salary.  You will receive your entire annual salary for school year 2020-2021 assuming you work the entire year.  Below is the table detailing the payroll adjustments that must be made to realign the pay dates with our school calendar.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have created.

For hourly employees, these calculations are based on days worked during the pay period.

We have worked to minimize the number of employees negatively impacted by this change.  Thank you for your understanding.

If you have questions, please reach out to me at cmahr@wellesleyma.gov or Donna Kalinowski at dkalinowski@wellesleyma.gov.
