Fiske Families,

Happy Lunar New Year to all our families who are celebrating this Sunday.  2023 is the year of the rabbit.  The sign of the Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity.  Have a Happy New Year!

 

It has been another wonderful week at Fiske.  This winter the weather changes from warm to cold in the blink of an eye.  Please remember to send your child in with labeled hats, mittens/gloves, coat, snow pants and snow boots when there is snow on the ground. Please contact our Fiske Social Worker Ms. DeSantis (desantism@wellesleyps.org) if your child/children are in need of winter outerwear.  

 

Please join the PTO for coffee and conversation on Thursday, January 26th at 8:45 a.m.  in the Fiske Cafeteria. We will be discussing supporting our students’ healthy technology use and the relationship between technology and well-being. This conversation will be led by our School Psychologist, Ryan Byrne, and Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor, Michelle DeSantis.  There will be a ZOOM option for those who can not attend in person.

 

Late Arrival-

Parents/guardians when dropping off your children late, please wait until they are in the building before leaving to assure your children are safely inside.  

 

Fiske Bingo Night Bake Sale

Support the 5th Grade Activities by contributing to the Bingo Night Bake Sale! Sign up below to donate baked goods and treats to be sold at Bingo Night. Thursday, February 2nd, 6:30pm at the Wellesley High School Cafeteria. Please plan to deliver your goods directly to the Bake Sale table at Bingo Night before 6:30pm. Reminders: 1. No Nuts 2. Bingo Night!

Thursday February 2nd 6:30-8 PM at the Wellesley High School Cafeteria

 

For those families who have never been to Bingo Night before, this is a great way to meet other Fiske families.  It is a highly anticipated event by all the kids!!  This is a fundraiser for our school so please come and join other Fiske families for this Fisketastic event!

There will be lots of great prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale to benefit the 5th grade class, and an opportunity to win lunch with Ms. McGregor, so you won’t want to miss this fun event!    

**Be sure to have dinner at home and bring CASH for the raffle and some yummy desserts from the bake sale!**
