They identified a focus for Hardy &#8211; &nbsp;to promote positive messages in the building using posters. Examples of posters include showing RISE and being green.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, we also had&nbsp;an all-school meeting featuring our 4th graders as well as our first student talents shared with the school.&nbsp;Fourth grade students taught the Hardy community about kindness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pumpkin Parade Reminder<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, October 31st at 8:45 AM, we will have a first ever Pumpkin Parade at Hardy. In celebration of fall, students are invited to bring in a decorated pumpkin (That can comfortably be carried into school, so not too big or heavy):<\/p>\n<p>Students could decorate pumpkin: as a character, in a spooky way, paint or bedazzle. Be creative!<\/p>\n<p>Materials suggestions: acrylic paint, stickers. pompons, sharpies\/permanent markers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, buttons<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pumpkins are to be brought to school on Oct. 31st<\/strong>.&nbsp;These will be positioned outside in front of the building throughout the front plaza.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parents\/guardians are invited to view these pumpkins.<\/strong> Come to the outside of the front of the building at 8:45 AM for this event. Parents\/guardians can park along the driveway loop, right hand side only (starting at 8:35 AM). Students will start off standing by their own pumpkins (which will be arranged by class) and then they will parade through our line of pumpkins to view all others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spirit Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This upcoming Friday, we\u2019ll have our <strong>School Spirit Day for the month of October<\/strong>. Students are encouraged to wear their Husky gear to school or red &amp; black clothing.
