{"id":1199,"date":"2025-04-23T11:33:43","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T15:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wellesleyps.org\/hr\/?page_id=1199"},"modified":"2026-09-03T15:14:47","modified_gmt":"2026-09-03T19:14:47","slug":"mandatory-training","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wellesleyps.org\/hr\/resources-for-employees\/mandatory-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Mandatory Training"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Wellesley Public Schools utilizes <strong>ArxEd: LITIX Academy<\/strong> to provide staff with annual mandatory training.&nbsp; <strong>ArxEd: LITIX Academy <\/strong>offers training through a series of brief videos, accompanied by some content created specifically for and by WPS staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To access <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lms.arxed.com\/users\/sign_in\"><strong>ArxEd: Litix Academy<\/strong><\/a><strong>, please click on this <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/academy.litix.ai\/users\/sign_in\"><strong>link<\/strong><\/a><strong>.&nbsp; Please contact <\/strong><strong>support@ArxEd.com<\/strong><strong> with technical questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No later than 4:00pm on October 31, 2026, staff are expected to complete the training in its entirety. The training can be completed in one session or in stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">State Ethics Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the district mandatory training, the State Ethics Commission created an online mandatory training program for all staff.&nbsp; Public employees must complete the online training program within 30 days of appointment, and then every 2 years thereafter. Public employees must acknowledge in writing that they received the summary of the conflict of interest law within 30 days of election or appointment, and then annually thereafter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To access the learning management system, new employees must create an account using this <a href=\"https:\/\/massethicstraining.skillburst.com\/\">link<\/a>. Select \u201cWellesley\u201d and enter Wellesley School Department as your \u201cdepartment, board or agency.\u201d An access code will be sent to your email address from \u201cnoreply@skillburst.com\u201d and will provide you with the link to create your password and begin the training. For employees who have already created an account, they will receive periodic reminders about required tasks from noreply@skillburst.com.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completion of these mandatory training and education requirements will be automatically recorded with the State Ethics Commission.&nbsp; Employees are not required to send the certificates of completion to Human Resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will be assigned to an online asynchronous Cybersecurity Training Path based on your role at WPS.
