Good morning all,This morning we enjoyed listening to beautiful music performed by the Hunnewell band, orchestra, and fifth grade chorus. Each ensemble sounded lovely. Please join me in extending a special thank you to our own Katie Dexter, Mary Alice McCann, the orchestra director, and Donna Chaff, the accompnist.
In keeping with our safety practices and protocols, we also practiced an evacuation drill at Hunnewell this morning at 10:30. Prior to the drill, the teachers explained to the students that we would have this practice drill. They also explained potential reasons for an evacuation, including an unusual smell in the building, a backed-up septic system, or perhaps a concern about the weight of snow on the roof. The children did an excellent job of getting out of the building quickly and quietly and we were able to get back to work within 10 minutes. Hope you all enjoy a wonderful day with these warmer temperatures.Sincerely,
