Good evening Hunnewell,I hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend. While it would be highly unusual, let’s hope we continue to experience a warm spring. I want to remind you of two upcoming events. The Literacy Coffee will be held this Friday, March 18 in the Hunnewell library. Ms. Mortarelli will share ideas on how to support your child’s love of reading and Ms. Scott will review how to use our data bases to support your child’s learning and curiosity. Ms. Scott suggests that you bring your own device so that she can show you how to easily access these data bases.
The second event is next Wedensday, March 23 in the Hunnewell library at 7:15. We will be discussing Creative Schools, written by Ken Robinson. We will also watch a TED Talk featuring Ken Robinson. This conversation will be part of a series of conversations that I look forward to having with staff, parents, PTO, and our School Council as we begin planning to draft our 2017-19 School Improvement Plan.I look froward to seeing you.Sincerely,Ellen
