Yesterday we gathered for our first all-school assembly to honor old traditions and begin a new one. Given that the CARE values define the way we treat one another at Hunnewell, we wanted to introduce these values to all of our new students and staff and also re-commit our entire community to upholding these values right from the get-go!
We also celebrated our summer reading! Of the 111 summer reading logs collected, we counted that these students read 2,876 books!
Last, but not least, we also began a new tradition of “CLAPPING-IN” our new fifth grade leaders, who were welcomed into the gym with a thunderous applause from all of the students and staff. Soon you will see these fifth grade leaders helping in the car-line and at the morning mingle. If you happen to see one of our fifth graders hard at work, please take a moment to express your appreciation for their help.
Enjoy your day!
