Last month in Fitness and Health, students enjoyed our Jump Rope for Heart classes where we focused on being active, emphasizing fun fitness, and doing a ton of jumping rope! I’m excited to inform you that the Hunnewell community once again has the opportunity to participate in raising money for the American Hearth Association, the organization that provides the Jump Rope for Heart program. The money raised will go directly to hospitals to help fund research and resources that doctors can use to help people with special hearts.

Hunnewell has participated in this event in the past and has been extremely generous and dedicated.  With the motivation to empower kids that they are able to actively help others in need, a packet with information on how to register online and make a donation was sent home with your child. We will be continuing to accept donations through the month of April and into early May.

Your voluntary participation would be greatly appreciated and certainly goes a long way for a tremendous cause. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. There are extra packets available to send home if needed. Have a wonderful April vacation; stay heart healthy!!

Best regards,

Devin Ligon
