I hope you enjoyed a relaxing and restful Thanksgiving with family and friends, and I wish those of you who celebrate a Happy Hanukkah!
With the winter months descending upon us, I want to remind you to make sure your students are dressed warmly to go outside. If students want to go into the field and onto the equipment, boots and snow pants are a must when there is snow on the ground! We will try and get the kids outside whenever we can, temperatures permitting.
Ms. Croteau has also asked me to remind you that children have to stay out of school for 24 hours after they have a fever, diarrhea, and or a temperature. While we want to have students here, we risk putting others at risk for getting sick when children come back to soon from an illness.
One final reminder with the ski season looming, please refrain from picking students up early on Friday afternoon Tin order to beat the traffic up north. Real learning is happening right up until the end of the day, and it is incredibly disruptive to have students pulled during the day when they may be working in small groups or with the teacher.
Thank you for working with us to keep children warm, healthy, and engaged!
