Instead, it\u2019s a reflection on how gratitude truly emerges\u2014not just from grand celebrations, but from the simple, often mundane, moments that quietly build our relationships and shape our lives.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;\">These moments aren\u2019t flashy, but they are meaningful. They\u2019re the kind of moments that happen every day here at Hunnewell, and I\u2019ve seen how they create lasting connections. Juliet\u2019s (5E) laughter during morning announcements\u2014so pure and uncontainable that she couldn\u2019t even finish her joke\u2014was a shared moment of joy that brightened everyone\u2019s morning. Bernadette\u2019s (KP) wide-eyed excitement during a discussion about puppies wasn\u2019t just a fleeting expression of curiosity; it was a spark that brought a whole \u201cpuppy\u201d conversation. Grady (KM) and Jackson\u2019s (KP) animated recess debate about their \u201csuperpowers\u201d was a reminder of how imagination and friendship intertwine to create something magical. Listening to kindergarten boys uncontrollably laughing is contagious.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;\">It\u2019s easy to overlook these moments in the busyness of life, but they are the threads that weave us together. A shared laugh, a thoughtful pause, or a meaningful conversation\u2014these are the moments that help us understand one another, deepen our relationships, and make the ordinary extraordinary.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;\">As you head into your Thanksgiving break, I encourage you to approach this time with mindfulness and purpose. Look for these moments of connection and allow yourself to be fully present in them. Take time to listen, to laugh, and to simply be with those around you. Whether it\u2019s a deep conversation over dinner, a quiet moment of understanding with your child, or the joy of reconnecting with a loved one, these moments matter. It is the foundation of our connectedness.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt;\">Let\u2019s be intentional in our conversations, relaxed in our gatherings, and open to the meaningful moments that surround us. Sprinkle it with fun, for laughter and joy are the sparks that make life worth living. Live fully, love deeply, and savor the now\u2014for it is all we truly have. Many children are afraid of dogs or may have had a negative&nbsp;interaction. I fully understand the need to walk your dog (I am the dog walker in my family) and bringing them to school for drop-off and pick-up seems like a great plan. If you plan on bringing your dog during arrival and dismissal please DO NOT bring them on the campus. You might remain on the sidewalk near the fence or tie them to the fence. This allows for a safe arrival and dismissal for everyone.
