In seventh grade, Mrs. Dexter was ready to leave the band\u2014until Mr. Tacarzek firmly told her, <em>&#8220;You&#8217;re not going to quit band, young lady!&#8221;<\/em> She stayed. And now, look at her incredible impact on so many young musicians.<\/p>\n<p>It was one turn in the road, shaping not just her journey, but the musical adventures of countless children. The impact of a great teacher cannot be measured\u2014it ripples through time, shaping futures in ways we may never fully see. Let\u2019s take a moment to appreciate those who guide, inspire, and change lives with just a few words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background:white;\"><strong><span style=\"background:white;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\">Standard-Based Report Cards<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"background:white;\"><span style=\"background:white;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,serif;\">Today at 3:00 p.m. parents\/guardians will have access to the first Standards-Based Report Card (SBRC) of the school year.&nbsp; In addition, Kindergarten- third-grade parents can access their students\u2019 mCLASS\/DIBELS reports. Parents\/guardians can use the same username and password from the fall. If Negative, repeat an additional COVID test in 48 hours. A fever is &gt;100.0F<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">No vomiting or diarrhea for a complete 24 hours. If it happens in school, I will need to send them home for an additional 24 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">All Cold symptoms should be improved and manageable before returning to school.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">After COVID-19 and if feeling better: it is highly recommended to continue to mask until your child has two consecutive negative tests 48 hours apart for the health and safety of those around them (other classmates and staff).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Your child should be school-ready: eating, tolerating fluids, and ready to participate including in PE and recess.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Excessive coughing and profuse nasal discharge that disrupt your child&#8217;s learning are not school-ready.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">For alternative diagnoses requiring antibiotics, your child should have a full 24 hours on the antibiotic before returning to school. A full 24 hours equals 4 doses total BEFORE returning to school.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Though not required, consider a mask when around others 2-3 days following viral illness for the health and safety of other staff and students.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:10.0pt;vertical-align:baseline;\"><span style=\"color:black;\"><span style=\"font-family:arial,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.0pt;\">Please do not send in over-the-counter medications in your child\u2019s backpack.
