Dear P.A.W.S. Families,
It was wonderful to welcome everyone back to school after our April vacation week. The children have returned to their regular schedules and it is great to see them back in class learning and playing with friends!
Spring School Picture Days, May 11 & 12
The students at PAWS will be able to get their Spring School Pictures taken on May 11th and May 12th. The rain dates will be May 25th and 26th. Please see the schedule below to see the date of your child’s school picture. We invite our families in the RLS to call the PAWS Office to make an appointment on Tuesday, May 11th to get your child’s Spring School Pictures taken.
- Tuesday, May 11 (Rain Date 5/25) – for PK1.2, PK2, PK3, PK4.2, PK5, PK6, PK7, PK8, PK9/10(RLS), PK11
- Wednesday, May 12 (Rain Date 5/26) – for PK4.3 and for PK1.3

PAWS Yard Clean Up Day
We welcome our PAWS families to help spruce up the gardens and grounds at PAWS on Sunday, May 16th between 10:30am – 2:30pm (rain date, Sunday 5/23).
Bring a shovel and a rake to help remove the leaves from between the flower beds and to help spread mulch, or bring a small rake and a spade to help to clean up the raised gardens and help to plant some vegetables and flowers.
This will be a safe and socially distanced event and we do ask that you and your child wear your masks while on the school grounds.
RETURN TO SCHOOL LISTENING SESSION
The Wellesley Public Schools will host a listening session to gather the opinions, beliefs and attitudes about the reopening of schools this spring, and later in the fall, and the impacts of COVID19 on community members. We value the voices of all community members in the District’s ongoing decision-making. Please join us on 5/19/2021, 6:00- 7:30 p.m., via Zoom. You may register here.
Staff Snacks
Thank you to the Yin family for your generous donations of staff snacks this week! The staff have been enjoying the flavored seltzer and salty and sweet snack choices you graciously provided. The staff appreciate your kindness and all of the delightful treats!
Tea With ‘Becca
Please join us on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 via Zoom to continue our conversations about race and anti-racism practices. We welcome all P.A.W.S. parents and caregivers to join the conversation and to bring other questions and topics to the table.
