Dear Upham Community,
Happy Thanksgiving! With all of the restrictions (see the guidelines below) on travel, I hope that you get to spend time with loved ones and find some respite from the COVID madness. Spending time away from the regular routine allows us to see things from a different perspective. I was reminded this morning by one of our fifth graders, Marc Cannistraro, about a different perspective. Marc marched into the office and announced, “Hey Mr. Dees! I think I am going to retire!” Thank you, Marc! It fits with the times.
I cannot think of a better time to take a pause and spend time with friends and loved ones. Please be careful in your travels. Please find time for yourself. One other thing…please understand that we could not teach effectively during this COVID-time without your unbelievable support. Thank you for all you do to help us. Be safe and enjoy the holiday break.
