Dear Upham Community,
Wow! What a wild, wild adventure we are experiencing right now. I am always ready for a wonderful adventure. I prefer many more ups than downs, fully knowing the downs are always necessary for a successful adventure. After observing the events of the last couple of weeks I am drawn back to what a wide-eyed lad from Liverpool wrote over fifty years ago. “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.” It would be so much brighter if we all took those strong words to heart.
Infinity Squad Program (Math Mentoring)
If you are looking for math tutoring, look no further. WHS is offering mentoring help through the Infinity Squad program which will run until April break of 2021. The goal of the Infinity Squad is to build relationships with local high school students and help foster a love of math. They will work together on math games, puzzles, and curriculum. Initially, all programming will be held virtually. We will pair your student with a high school student and you can schedule the once/week 30-minute virtual meetings when they are most convenient for both of you.
