Hello Upham Community,
Wow! Last Saturday was one of the best days of my teaching career. What a day! Upham’s first Color Dash was amazing!
There are so many people to thank for this fantastic event. Thank you to all who assisted and put in a tremendous amount of work to make it memorable. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Julie Herlihy and Yeiyu Tchong. Julie and Yeiyu’s brainchild and planning efforts brought us a magnificent event. We met before COVID broke out, and I knew we could put together an inclusive event. The Upham Color Dash was more successful than we could have imagined.
Lucy Crean (Upham 2nd grader) said it this way, “It was just great because Upham is closing, and it felt like we were going to make our last years the best.”
My good friends of Upham, thank you for your support and for attending such a fantastic, beautiful event.
Placement for 2022-23
The teachers are working on student placement for next year. I wanted to share with you what I know (to this point and it could change) about our teacher assignments.

Obviously, you will notice there is only one section for third grade and that Deb Cohen is moving to 4th grade. Additionally, Megan O’Reilly is moving to 5th grade. Due to lack of enrollment, we have had to make these changes. If any assignments change I will connect with you about those changes. Personally, I am very excited as we move forward and I know the Upham teachers feel the same.
