Principal’s Message

Dear Upham and Hunnewell families,

You may have seen news reports that this week more than a dozen communities in Massachusetts have received “swatting” calls or calls that include fake threats of violence in schools.

I want to assure our community that our district team has been monitoring these reports and remains in close touch with the Wellesley Police Department. While we obviously hope that our schools do not become a target of this type of hoax, should a situation arise, we will follow the protocol that we have developed in partnership with the WPD.
