Dear Upham and Hunnewell Parents,
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I would like to take this opportunity to outline the classrooms for the 2023-2024 academic year at Upham and Hunnewell.
First, I want to express my appreciation for your continued support and involvement in your child’s education. We believe that a strong partnership between parents and educators is essential for the success of our students, and we look forward to working together in the coming year.
Before we get to the classroom assignments, please remember the following:
Wednesday, June 14, is a Full Day, and Thursday, June 15 (Last Day of School) is a half day. Dismissal at noon.
At Upham Elementary School, we have adjusted the classroom assignments based on student enrollment and educational needs. Here are the classroom assignments for the 2023-2024 school year:
Kindergarten:
1 Section- Mrs. Bresnahan
First Grade:
1 Section- Mrs. Leung
Second Grade:
2 Sections- Mrs. Maggipinto /Ms. Chartier
Third Grade:
1 Section-Mrs. Cohen
Fourth Grade:
1 Section- Mrs. Garry
Fifth Grade:
2 Sections-Mrs. Eccher/Ms. O’Reilly
At Hunnewell Elementary School, the following classrooms have been assigned for the 2023-2024 school year:
Second Grade:
2 Sections- Mrs. Cannon/Ms. Kaitlyn Murray
Art- Mr. Knapp/Mrs. LaFleur
Music- Mrs. Tomashefsky/Mr. Corcoran
Library- Mrs. Cote
PE- Mrs. Walsh
Spanish/FLES- Mrs. Habib
Please note that classroom teachers have been working on class assignments. Rest assured that our primary goal is to provide the best learning environment for all students, and the classroom assignments have been painstakingly planned. The classroom assignments for the upcoming year will foster a positive and supportive educational experience for your children. Our dedicated team of teachers is committed to nurturing their growth, encouraging academic excellence, and promoting a love for learning.
The teacher assignments will be available through the Parent Portal on Wednesday, August 16, at noon. We look forward to welcoming all our students back to school on the first day, which is scheduled for August 30, 2023.
