4"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Wellesley Elementary students in Grade 4, will learn a new set of techniques and hone their skills from past years.\u00a0 Grade 4 focuses on learning to create more complex compositions using depth, perspective, value, and\/or cropping methods.\u00a0 Grade 4 students also begin to utilize more advanced clay handbuilding techniques, including pinched forms, slabs, and coils.\u00a0 The understanding of various types of media and how they can be combined to create a cohesive piece of art begins to come into play as well.\u00a0 Lastly, Grade 4 students begin to understand the color relationships of not only primary, secondary colors on the color wheel, but\u00a0 tertiary, analogous warm and cool, complementary, and tints and shades are introduced.\u00a0 Grade 4 students also continue to create and build their fine motor skills of hand eye coordination and hand strength all while having fun experimenting with new\u00a0 art materials and their skills each week in the art studio.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Students at He has moved around\u00a0between many elementary schools in the Wellesley district, but spends most of his time at Hunnewell School. T received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education with a minor in Environmental Sustainability from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Mx. T loves working with elementary students, introducing them to new art materials, and watching these young artists grow and develop their own artistic styles. Mx. T&#8217;s favorite projects to teach are ceramics, fibers, and printmaking. In Mx. T&#8217;s personal art practice, they make homemade paper from recycled fibers, experiments with wood burning, as well as impressionistic landscape painting. Outside of school and art, Mx.
