The Art Department is in need of your old phone book.
Feel guilty about throwing that phone book in the trash and not recycling it? Have several years of phone books collecting dust on a bookshelf? Let the high school art department help you – bring in your phone book(s) and let us relieve you of your guilt!
Phone books pages are the perfect size and type of paper to wipe off ink from printmaking plates. And since we use water based ink, we can still recycle the inked pages and be kind to the environment. Plus, we don’t have to purchase paper for wiping plates. It’s a win, win, win!
You can drop your old phone books off in the main office or have your child bring them to the art department.
