The following is a very important message regarding this Wednesday’s STEP UP DAY at Wellesley High School.

This is a day in which grade level activities are planned for grades 9 – 12. The details and schedules for each grade are unique to that group and must be followed.

If you have any questions, please contact your house office for clarification.

Class of 2020

Thanks to major funding from the Wellesley High School PTSO, and contributions from World Of Wellesley, and Friends of Wellesley Metco we are able to offer our ninth grade students a presentation discussing racial identity by Debby Irving, author of “Waking Up White.” Ms Irving’s presentation last spring was very well received by students, faculty, parents and community members. Our Freshman class will prepare for the talk before step-up day during their advisories, and will continue to process, reflect, and debrief in smaller groups after the keynote presentation. The program will start at 8:30 A.M. to allow for our 10th and 11th graders to get settled in their assigned rooms for their pre-ACT and PSATs, respectively, and students will continue to debrief in smaller groups from 11:00 to 11:30
