To the Parents of the Class of 2018 –

It’s hard to believe we are only about 5 months away from graduation.  There is lots of planning that still needs to be done to make our Seniors last semester one they will always remember.

For nearly 40 years, the All Night Party has been a graduation tradition at Wellesley High. We are delighted to begin planning for this special event, which takes place the night of graduation on  June 1, 2018.  A fun-filled evening of food, music and entertainment, the party is held at the high school and is staffed by parent volunteers. This event gives our graduates a safe environment in which to celebrate, one last time, as a class.

To cover the costs of this event, we will need family donations. You have all been exceptionally generous in supporting this class to date. Our Junior Auction last spring generated a record sum and those funds have been used to underwrite the cost of Junior Boat Cruise, Prom, Senior Banquet and the Class Gift.  The All Night Party is a separate, entirely parent-funded event.  Once we have a better idea of the total cost of the event, we will reach back out with a suggested donation amount.  All parents are invited to join in planning and staffing this event. Your talents are needed and appreciated. This is our last opportunity to work together for the Class of 2018!

Please join us to launch our effort next Wednesday, January 17, 7:30pm, at Lori Silverstein’s, 17 Framar Road.  We would love to see as many of you there as possible!  There are lots of jobs, big and small.  No matter what your schedule allows, there is something for everyone, and we are sure to have fun together planning this final event for our kids!  Please mark your calendar and RSVP to Lori Silverstein (  Hope to see you on 1/17!
