We would like to acknowledge and congratulate WMS ELA Grade 8 teacher, Ms. Wasserman, for being \u00a0published in the<\/span>\u00a0New York Times<\/span>\u00a0\u201cTiny Love Story\u201d column on October 2nd. Her story was a touching tribute to her 5 year-old son. \u201cTiny Love Stories\u201d are reader submitted passages of 100 words or less.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Graphic Novel Bookclub will be meeting today during all three lunches in Room 217. Please bring your lunch to the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Any returning Math Team members in grade 7 or 8 who wish to participate in the first meet on Thursday, October 9th, need to meet today after school in Room 228 to pick up permission slips.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

There will be an informational meeting today for WMS girls in all grades interested in playing on the WMS ice hockey team this winter. The meeting will begin at 2:45 pm in the Cafeteria.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. \u00a0The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.<\/span><\/p>\n
