Ms. Speed’s Period 2, Block C and Period 5, Block F Drama classes will meet in Room 363 today.<\/span><\/p>\n

All 8th grade students who are taking the heritage world language tests should report to the cafeteria at 9:20 am today. You should all have a pass that you received from your counselor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating? Today\u00a0<\/span>begins the Hindu celebration of Holi.\u00a0<\/span>Holi is also known as the Festival of Colors and is an annual festival celebrated on the day after the full moon in the Hindu month of Phalguna (early March). Holi is a symbol of the triumph of good over evil. It marks the start of spring and is also celebrated to give thanks for a good harvest. The festival revolves around putting color on each others\u2019 faces and indulging in sweet delicacies that are made on this day.\u00a0<\/span>We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Holi!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Today is an Early Release Day. Teachers will be in department meetings so all students must leave the building at the 11:21 dismissal. There will be no late buses to Boston or Wellesley.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>All students who are going into town today, please remember that you are representing yourself, your families, neighborhoods, and our school. You have been given the privilege of independence and you must show that you can manage it. Please be respectful to each other as well as to store employees, other shoppers, and clean up after yourselves, especially after you eat.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Spirit Wear Store will be open at the Donizetti entrance from 11:20 until noon today.<\/span><\/p>\n
