It\u2019s time for another Library Question of the Week!\u00a0<\/span>April is a peak growing season. \u201cWhat is the name of the fastest-growing plant on Earth, which can grow up to 35 inches in a single day?\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Submit your answer by scanning the QR code outside the library. A winner will be announced on Friday. Good luck!<\/span><\/p>\n

6th grade students in Ms. Moore\u2019s tutoring program, please report directly to the library after school today.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. \u00a0The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At this time, I feel it\u2019s important that we acknowledge the devastating news shared over the weekend about two elementary school children found deceased in their Wellesley home. Our thoughts, prayers and support are with the family and those that are most impacted including the Schofield, Hardy and PAWS communities. Additionally, please know that in difficult times, many people find comfort in routine. We will be running school today as scheduled, in an effort to provide a predictable space for all students and staff. That being said, if anyone at WMS feels\u00a0<\/span>that they need extra support, please reach out to a trusted adult in the building which could include teachers, counselors, administrators and any staff member that you trust in the building. We are all here to help. As a community, please come together and be there for each other as needed. In advance, I thank you for your care and support.<\/span><\/p>\n
