Thank you to everyone who participated in the Activities Fair. \u00a0It was a great success! \u00a0If you were not able to attend, you can still join any club by clicking on the QR code on the Club Board outside the cafeteria until Friday, October 2nd. You will also find information on all clubs being offered. \u00a0Stop by the Main Office if you need help. \u00a0Clubs will begin next Monday, October 5th.<\/span><\/p>\n

To all teachers and students, please be aware that we are seeing an increase in students not making it to class on time throughout the day. There are students still in the hallways when the bell rings. Students, please be reminded that you need to be in classrooms when the bell rings and ready to follow your teacher\u2019s routine in order to start your learning. When arriving in the morning, this means that you are in class at 7:45 a.m., and not walking into the building at that time. Teachers, please log all tardies in your attendance, so that we can help track students that are consistently late. Also, all sending staff should write passes for any student that they are holding after the bell rings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Are some of you wondering what this month is? From September 15 through October 15, we are celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. \u00a0During this month,\u00a0<\/span>we honor the incredible cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

This celebration starts on September 15th because it marks the independence anniversaries of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua all celebrate their independence on this day, followed by Mexico on the 16th and Chile on the 18th.<\/span><\/p>\n
