Asako Yoshida
Biography
B.M. in Flute Performance from Kunitachi Music College in Tokyo, Japan, and M.M. in Flute Performance from University of Michigan School of Music where she was elected Pi Kappa Lambda.
Her teachers include Akiyasu Miyamoto, Takako Shiraishi, Keith Bryan, Ervin Monroe and Frances Shelly.
She has been on the faculty of South Shore Conservatory from 1997 and Suzuki School of Newton and Wellesley Public School since 2000.
She has been performing as a member of the Willow Flute Ensemble since 2000, known as one of the most active flute ensembles in New England. In 2013 she created Summer Trio, two flutes and piano ensemble, which performs around New England.
