Biography

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

• Active performer on 6 and 7 string guitars. Plays both electric and acoustic guitars.

• With a concentration in jazz, classical, funk/fusion and fingerstyle guitar, he is also well versed in all the current popular guitar styles. In addition to extensive work as a solo guitarist and bandleader, he frequently works as a sideman backing original artists and performing with New England’s top party bands.

• Won the Boston Music Award for “Jazz Artist of the Year” in 2020.

• His original musical projects have been fortunate enough to share stages and venues with innovative acts such as Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic, Talking Heads), Mike Dillon (Les Claypool, Ani DiFranco), The late great Johnny Winter and many more.

• Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music.

• Private guitar studies with Jon Damian, Tim Miller, David Fiuczynski and Bret Wilmott.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

• Hobbies and interests include: Hiking, Reading, Cooking, Recording, Art, Jeeps, Going to Concerts and listening to new music.
