Private lessons are offered in two semesters of fifteen weekly lessons each school year. Beginning students receive 30-minute lessons, and teachers may advise an extended lesson length to meet student needs and interest. In addition to lesson tuition, a registration fee of $25 is included each semester.
Lessons are available in the following lengths. Please note the costs are per semester.
- 30 Minute Private Lessons: $512.50
- 45 Minute Private Lessons: $756.25
- 60 Minute Private Lessons: $1,000.00
Financial Assistance is available in cases of financial need. Financial Assistance applications are handled by the WPS Business Office. Information can be found at: www.wellesleyps.org/students-families/financial-assistance-information.

Financial Assistance is available for 30-minute lessons. Parents of advanced students who choose a longer lesson duration are responsible for paying the difference in tuition. The Registration Fee of $25 is required of all students.
