Hannah Wolfe is a classically trained soprano and private voice teacher who is passionate
about helping singers discover what their voices can do. She holds a B.F.A. in Vocal
Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently pursuing graduate studies in
Music Education at the Longy School of Music.
Hannah brings professional performance experience and a strong foundation in vocal pedagogy
to her teaching which allows her students to find their most authentic sound. Previous
professional credits include Gilda (Rigoletto) and Musetta (La Bohéme), as well as other
operatic roles such as The Rose (The Little Prince), Armida (Rinaldo), and Miles (The Turn of
the Screw). Outside of classical repertoire, Hannah is an avid musical theatre lover. Roles
performed include Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Hope Harcourt (Anything Goes), “Bless the
Lord” (Godspell). Alongside full productions, Hannah is familiar with concert repertoire and has
studied many other roles and shows performed through Carnegie Mellon Opera, Greve Opera
Academy, Teatro Lirico D’Europa, and other regional productions.
As a private voice teacher, Hannah believes that every singer deserves an approach tailored to
their individual voice, goals, and personality. Lessons focus on developing healthy technique,
breath support, musicality, confidence, and a genuine understanding of how the voice works.
Along with vocal skills, Hannah believes that music theory concepts are extremely important for
young singers and includes ear training and theory concepts in every lesson. Whether a student
is interested in classical singing, musical theatre, audition preparation, or simply wants to
become a stronger and more confident vocalist, Hannah creates a welcoming space where
students can work hard, experiment, and have fun!
