Dear P.A.W.S. families,
We are pleased to share with you that Kristen Stacy has been appointed Interim Director of Early Childhood for the 2024-25 school year, effective immediately.
As you likely know, former director Rebecca Zieminski has been on leave from the position since April. She will not be returning to the role. We are grateful to ‘Becca for her 10 years of service to P.A.W.S. students and families and wish her well.
Kristen, a longtime WPS educator who has worked with P.A.W.S. staff over the years, will transition to the P.A.W.S. office next week. Since 2016, she has served as one of the WPS K-5 special education department heads. Kristen also spent two years as a team chair and six years as a special educator at Bates.
Kristen will be hosting a meet and greet on Tuesday, July 30, from 10 am to noon at P.A.W.S. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop by anytime during those hours, or email Kristen at stacyk@wellesleyps.org to arrange an alternate time to meet.
We are grateful to Kristen for her interest in taking on the director role for this school year, and know that our P.A.W.S. students will be in excellent hands.
