End of the Year Letter | P.A.W.S. Preschool at Wellesley Schools

Dear P.A.W.S. Families,

As the school year winds down and we approach summer, we wanted to share resources that you might find helpful during the summer break. The links below a variety of home-based activities to community events in Wellesley and the surrounding areas. We hope you find them useful.

This letter also includes information about our P.A.W.S. orientation for August 2024.

As you know, each year preschool parents and students are invited to attend the P.A.W.S. Orientation days in August. This year we have scheduled these dates for August 28th, 29th, and 30th. Please mark these dates and times to be sure you and your child can attend this important day. Below is the schedule for each preschool classroom.

Orientation and Schedule

Children and parents/guardians enjoy the first 15 minutes exploring together in the classroom, meeting the child’s teachers, and teaching assistants as well as other school faculty and staff.
Children and their parents/guardians are invited to explore the classroom and the activities set up by the teacher, as well as to meet the other families and children in the classroom.
You should have received a welcome email/packet by then, but staff will be around to answer any questions.
We encourage you to use the playground after your classroom visit with your student’s classmates and the other parents, to begin to make connections and spend 15-20 minutes getting to know the other families in your child’s classroom.
