Dear PAWS Families,
Reminders:
Early Dismissal Day:
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, 2015 is an Early Release Day for the PAWS Preschool. The PM sessions of preschool will not meet tomorrow.
All PAWS classes at PAWS, Fiske and Upham will dismiss at 11:20 AM.
We look forward to seeing you at the 11:20 AM dismissal tomorrow.
Candy Drive from November 1st to November 5th:
All Wellesley Schools are invited to join Wellesley Dental Group’s 8th Annual Community Candy Drive to benefit the U.S. troops serving overseas.
We will be collecting candy, handwritten notes and cards for our soldiers at all three PAWS locations. Please bring your donations to your child’s school and place in the collection box.
Our goal is to teach our kids lessons in giving by encouraging them to share their extra Halloween candy with our troops overseas. These sweet treats and the handwritten cards are a reminder of home for these soldiers, and a reflection of our gratitude. The packages will be sent via CarePacks, a non-profit organization, along with oral hygiene supplies.
Just to make this event more fun, the Wellesley Dental Group will award a grand prize of $1000 to the school PTO that donates the most candy !*
*The winner will be determined by dividing the amount of candy by the number of students in the school to compare donations fairly

We believe the film “Most Likely to Succeed” will be a springboard for important community-wide conversations about public education between and among parents, teachers, and students. While the screenings are organized by school, members from the community are invited to attend any of the showings. Rather than promote any particular model or approach, our goal isto provoke, challenge, and perhaps even inspire, as we remain focused on providing our students with a world-class education in Wellesley. We hope you will consider joining us on one of the dates listed above, and ask that you please reserve a free ticket at: www.wellesleyeducationfoundation.org/events/67-most-likely-to-succeed
