As you know, many of our students at PAWS are getting ready for Kindergarten! The Wellesley Public Schools have many ways to help you with the transition to kindergarten.
Kindergarten Registration:
Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, we have the PAWS Kindergarten Roundup. We provide this event exclusively for PAWS parents as a convenient way to register children for their September 2016 Kindergarten class. You are welcome to bring all of your kindergarten registration paperwork to PAWS tomorrow and we will process it for you. If you are not able to bring your kindergarten registration paperwork to PAWS tomorrow, you have other registration options as well. All parents in Wellesley are invited to bring their registration paperwork to a Kindergarten Roundup held for the general public at the Sprague School on either February 10 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM or on March 5 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
PAWS PTO Winter Carnival
This weekend on Sunday, February 7, 2016, all PAWS families are invited to the PAWS PTO Winter Carnival from 10:0 AM – 12:00 PM. Meet us in the Fiske School gym for some fun!
Special Education Transition to Kindergarten Parent Information Night
Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, we will host a Transition to Kindergarten Parent Information Night for parents of students with special needs. Join us for a presentation and a Q&A session at the Fiske Elementary School Library.
Throughout the spring, each elementary school will host a parent information night as well, and those dates will be provided to you by your neighborhood school.
Please remember there is No School during the week of February 15 – 19 for the winter vacation.
Wednesday, March 2, 2016 fro 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM, PAWS invites all new applicants to PAWS to a Preschool Screening and play date. This event is for all NEW students applying to PAWS for September 2016. This event is by invitation and appointment only. If you or someone you know is interesting in applying to PAWS, please have them call the PAWS office.
