GO PATS Spirit Day!!

We invite all staff and students to show some New England spirit and wear your favorite Patriots football team gear to school tomorrow or wear something that is red, white or blue!

Go Red for Women Day

If you don’t have Patriot’s gear (or you cheer for another team) you may wish to wear something red tomorrow for Go Red for Women Day. This day is observed as a reminder for all of us to think about our cardiovascular health. Nurse Ann has shared a link with various health topics related to heart health that you might find interesting.

“Putting it All Together” Workshop –  9:00am-10:00am, Friday, Feb. 2nd

If your child has an IEP, we welcome you to join us at a parent make-and-take workshop called, “Putting it All Together”!  This workshop is lead by parent, Rose Nolan and P.A.W.S. Director, Rebecca Zieminski.  We offer this opportunity to all parents of students with an Individual Education Program (IEP) to gather at P.A.W.S. for what parents last year called, “An AWESOME workshop!” At this workshop, you will be given a binder, page protectors, and an insider’s guide to special education.   At this workshop, you will gain insight into the special education process, connect with other parents, and learn helpful tips to help you organize all of the special education paperwork you collect for your child.  Coffee and light refreshments will be offered.

If you are not able to attend this “Putting it All Together” workshop, we are offering an evening workshop on March 14, 2018 from 6:00-7:30.  You may register for the evening workshop by clicking on this LINK to the Evite for the evening workshop.

Happy Valentine’s Day and Friendship Day! We invite your child to wear something red, white, purple or pink for Valentine’s Day!  Your child’s classroom teacher will be sending specific information about how and when Friendship Day/Valentine’s Day will be observed in each classroom.

Please remember that if your child decides to share friendship cards on Valentine’s Day, that all students from the classroom are included, and that there is one card for every member of the class.  Also, if you decide to include a small gift bag or treasure with the Valentine card, please be sure there is NO FOOD or candy.  There are many students with allergies and dietary restrictions.  For the safety and wellbeing of all students, we cannot allow food items to be shared or sent home.  Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe and happy during the celebration of love and friendship, by keeping all candy and food treats at home.

Deposit for 2018-2019

Reminder to parents – If you would like your child to return to P.A.W.S. for preschool next year, your preschool deposit is due!  Our preschool classroom spaces are filling up! In order to reserve your child’s spot for preschool next year you need to submit your deposit to confirm and hold your child’s spot. You may pay your deposit online.  Please contact school secretary Isabel Cashman if you need assistance.

We look forward to seeing you in your Patriot’s gear tomorrow (or wearing your red, white or blue) as we cheer on our New England Patriots football team in preparation for the Super Bowl on Sunday!

Best,

‘Becca Z.
