Dear P.A.W.S. Families,
Each spring we offer an evening meeting where families with children heading to kindergarten gather together to learn about the transition to kindergarten.
This year we will be hosting two virtual transitions to kindergarten meetings to help parents of our rising kindergarten students with and without special needs learn about the transition to kindergarten process and ask any questions they have.
Special Education Transition to Kindergarten Information Meeting
- Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 6:30-7:30 pm we will host a meeting for parents of children who have an IEP and who receive special education services. This meeting will be especially focused on answering questions about the special education transition to kindergarten.
General Education Transition to Kindergarten Information Meeting
- Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6:30-7:30 pm we will host a meeting for all PAWS parents with children entering kindergarten. If you are a parent attending Tuesday’s meeting, you are welcome to attend this meeting, but you do not need to attend both meetings as this general education information meeting will be a very similar presentation as Tuesday’s meeting. This one will not have the focus on special education information.
