Halloween at PAWS – No Costumes
Each year at Halloween, we respectfully ask that our PAWS students leave their Halloween costumes at home and save them for events outside of school. We understand that for some families the tradition of dressing up at Halloween is a fun and exciting event, but in order for us to honor and respect our youngest learners at PAWS, we know that not all of our students are able to understand or accept the change in the way everyone would look in costume at school. We always strive to make sure that the learning environment at PAWS is safe for every student, and at Halloween that means that your child DOES NOT wear a costume to school.
We will be celebrating our monthly Spirit Day Color Day on Monday, October 31, 2022 and everyone is invited to wear something ORANGE.
Thank you
Thank you to the Hall Family and Kelton Family for providing the PAWS staff with lovely seltzer and popcorn snacks for teacher appreciation! Thank you to the Katz Family for sending 4 dozen boxes of Blackbird donuts for the staff to enjoy! The staff are so appreciative of your kindness and your notes of thanks that accompany your delicious treats. Their hearts and tummies are warmed by your thoughtfulness.
Thank you all of our PAWS families, for all you do to support your child and your child’s teachers. Your ongoing positive contributions to the PAWS Program! Your kind words, notes of thanks, support, care and kindness are all greatly appreciated and help us to continually partner with you to bring the best to your children.
Best,
‘Becca Z.
