Dear P.A.W.S. Families,
We are so happy to be enjoying school, the beautiful weather and more time outside! Just a reminder to please apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school as we cannot apply it at school. If your child wears a sun hat or sunglasses, be sure all items are marked with your child’s name. Send your child’s water bottle (with their name on it) filled with fresh water each day. We can refill it as needed throughout the day.
Tea With ‘Becca –
Please join me for Tea with ‘Becca on Thursday, April 15th at 9:30am. I will be available to answer any questions you may have. This week, I would like to invite you into an important conversation about discussions about race, social justice and the Black Lives Matter flags that each school will be getting. Feel free to send me any questions ahead of time prior to the meeting, if you’d like.
PTO Thank You!
Thank you to the P.A.W.S. PTO for their support in funding our virtual field trips to the farm! This field trip connects with our recent STEAM Fairy Tale unit of study including the tale of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Three Little Pigs.
The Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes participated in the virtual field trip to the farm today. Next week on Tuesday, the Tuesday Thursday classes will enjoy their virtual field trip to the farm. Thank you to our RLS teacher Sheri Lander-Jones for coordinating this fun event for the students!
Staff Snacks
Thank you to the Yin Family and the Bajwa family for providing staff snacks this week. The staff enjoyed the treats throughout the week and appreciate your thoughtfulness and support!
Registration to Attend the Wellesley Public Schools in SY 2021-22
Registration to attend WPS in SY 2021-22 remains open for all grades. We strongly encourage any new or returning families to register now by visiting the district’s registration page and submitting the required documents. Early registration will assist the district in its planning for the new school year.
