PAWS UP (Updates and Postings)
November 14, 2021
Dear PAWS Families,
Yesterday was World Kindness Day and I was fortunate to be able to spend the day creating and setting up some random acts of kindness and also reflecting on and practicing gratitude for some unexpected kindnesses that I received from PAWS families this past week. Your kind comments, emails and messages are greatly appreciated and they matter. Thank you!
Each day at PAWS I witness our preschool students practicing acts of kindness. They may take turns with their peers while playing with their toys, they may help each other at clean-up time, and they practice using kind and caring words when speaking to each other. Each little or big act of kindness matters. Like a pebble dropped in the water, kindness has a ripple effect that continues on and radiates out beyond that one moment. I thank you for all you do in your homes to model kindness, to spread kindness, and to practice appreciation when someone is kind to you. Thank you for being kind each day and not just on World Kindness Day! Our collective kindness matters!
