Dear PAWS Families,
We will not have school on Monday, May 29, 2023 in observance of Memorial Day. Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday in May and is a day for honoring the United States military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice and died while serving in the U.S. armed forces.
Warm Weather Reminders:
- Please send your child to school with a lightweight water bottle each day (no glass or metal bottles please).
- Apply sunscreen to your child at home before coming to school
- Sneakers are the best option for fun and safe playground time. Flip-flops, crocs and sandals should stay at home.
- A sun hat and sunglasses can be fun and useful on the playground. Please be sure they are marked with your child’s name.

This week we enjoyed special presentations from Mad Science, funded by the generosity of the PAWS PTO! The children were all treated to very informative and entertaining science experiments on Tuesday and Wednesday.
This week we had our fourth and final fire drill practice of the year. All of the children and staff successfully exited the building in less than 2 minutes! Thank you to the Wellesley Fire Department for helping us to practice these drills so we know what to do to exit the building safely and quickly.
I hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy some fun family time in the fresh air this weekend!
