Dear Bates,
I want to say thank you to our community for working hard to be on time for school. We’ve seen a very positive response in our community to the new protocols for student attendance and on time arrival. We continue to encourage students to arrive at 8:15 am in order to be ready to enter the building and start the day at 8:30 am. As a reminder, students who arrive after 8:30 are marked tardy and need to be walked to the front door by an adult. Thank you for your cooperation with this procedure and many others here at Bates.
Looking ahead to January, the first semester of the school year concludes on January 24. Families will receive their child’s first term report card in PowerSchool on Friday, January 31. More information about our elementary standards based report card can be found here.
