Dear Bates,

As we head into the December break, I want to take a moment to reflect on our very special Bates community.  Our students bring so much joy to our school. We appreciate their laughter, their delight in learning and their thoughtfulness each day.  I am also so grateful to work with a wonderfully talented, committed and caring faculty and staff. Finally, thank you to our families for trusting us and supporting our work.  

I wish you a joyous holiday season and health and happiness in the new year!
