Dear Bates,

Thank you to all of the volunteers who made this week’s Book Fair so special for our students.  Each year our students love the opportunity to explore and enjoy new books with their classmates and families.  We truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, whose efforts helped make this week such a success.

Bates in Bloom on March 19

Please make sure to mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 19 for Bates in Bloom.  Families are invited to visit their child’s classroom from 8:30 to 9:15 am to admire their hard work.  Siblings are also welcome to visit one another’s classrooms.  We kindly ask that children stay with an adult at all times during the event.  If you cannot join us on March 19, please inform your child’s teacher.  We’d be happy to arrange another time for you to visit and see your child’s work.

Parent Teacher Conferences

We encourage all families to take advantage of the opportunity to sign up for a spring conference with your child’s teacher.  Conference sign-up links were emailed on March 5.  If you need any assistance with signing up, please don’t hesitate to contact the Bates office.

Please remember to set your clocks forward this Sunday for Daylight Saving Time.  I hope everyone enjoys the extra daylight!  Additionally, to those in our community observing Ramadan this month, I wish you a peaceful and joyful Ramadan.

Warmly,

Toni Jolley
