Dear Bates Families,
Thank you for joining us for parent teacher conferences these last few weeks. We truly value these opportunities to partner with you in supporting your child’s success.
With April here, we are excited to see the Bates Mini-Marathon on April 16 quickly approaching! Students have been training during PE with Ms. Fyvie, increasing their endurance and learning how to pace themselves. We’re looking forward to this fun, all school event. Below are a few important details:

Families are invited to cheer on the runners from the sidewalk in front of the school, or from the blacktop and playground area in the back. You may also see buddy classes encouraging the runners along the way!

Bates has a special tradition of raising funds for Friends of Wellesley METCO, Inc. If you’d like to participate in this effort, please find the pledge sheet attached. Donations will be collected until May 24.

We encourage all students to wear their Bates Proud t-shirt, which each student received. It’s always wonderful to see our Bates pride on display during these school-wide events!
