Dear Bates Families,

Our students really enjoyed the Book Fair this week at Bates! Thank you to our amazing PTO volunteers who helped make it possible! Thank you also to our families for supporting the joy of reading and books in our students. 

The Day of Play is just days away, on Wednesday, March 11. Thank you to all who have volunteered to support our students as they build their cardboard creations throughout the morning. We also appreciate volunteers who are able to help clean up starting around 11:00 am.  As a reminder, students are welcome to start bringing materials to school on Monday. We look forward to an exciting day!  

Parent teacher conferences are coming up soon. If you have not yet done so, please sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher using the sign up link emailed on February 25. Please note the early release day for students on Thursday, March 26!

Finally, this weekend brings the start of Daylight Saving Time. I look forward to the longer days and warmer weather ahead!  Have a great weekend.
