Dear HunneBates,
I have a few notes to share with you before the long weekend. First, please note that there is no school tomorrow, April 7, in observance of Good Friday. Second, please join us next week for the HunneBates Mini-Marathon on Wednesday, April 12. Please note the details below. Finally, the PTO is hosting a fun evening of Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo for HunneBates families in the Bates cafeteria on Tuesday, April 11 at 5:30. Please join if you are able.
The HunneBates Mini-Marathon is Wednesday, April 12
Below are times each grade is running:
9:00-9:20 am — Kindergarten
9:30-9:50 am — 1st Grade
10:00-10:20 am — 3rd Grade
10:30-10:50 am — 5th Grade
11:00-11:20 am — 2nd Grade
11:30-11:50 am — 4th Grade
Families are invited to attend, standing around the school to cheer on the runners. We ask that families avoid parking in the front circle or in the Bates parking lot. Thank you in advance to our students who are also raising money for METCO. We advise that students please hold onto their pledge sheets until after the Mini-Marathon so they can get as many pledges as possible. Thank you.
