Dear Bates,
We had a wonderful Field Day yesterday! Thank you to Nicole Fyvie, the Bates staff and the many, many volunteers who made this day a success! Much work goes into the planning, set up and clean up, and of course leading the many games and activities of Field Day. We are truly grateful to our community for your commitment to helping make special experiences for our students.
Wednesday is our final Walk and Roll to School Day as well as our PTO End of Year Family Picnic from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Thank you to our PTO for this opportunity to come together and celebrate another wonderful school year.
Finally, I ask families to continue regular reminders to children about safety measures before and after school. We ask students and adults to always walk or walk a bike on the sidewalks and crosswalks, not through the parking lot. Working together we can help children to consistently follow these important safety measures. Thank you.
