Dear Bates Families,
While this week’s warm weather and humidity gave us a taste of summer, our students and staff showed amazing flexibility. We kept a close eye on everyone and made adjustments throughout the week to keep the days as comfortable as possible. Thank you to our staff for their creative ideas and dedication to supporting our students. We are all looking forward to the cooler days ahead next week!
Congratulations to the Bates Orchestra, the Bates Beginning and Continuing Bands and the Fifth Grade Chorus for a wonderful performance on Wednesday. Thank you to all who joined us in the audience to cheer on and celebrate these young musicians!
Save the New Date: Kickball & Field Day This Tuesday!
We have a new date for Field Day and the Staff vs. Fifth Grade Kickball Game: Tuesday, June 16! The weather is looking comfortable, and we are ready for an amazing day.
Please help us ensure your child is prepared for the day with the following:
- Their Bates Proud T-Shirt: This helps us easily organize students by grade level colors on the field.
- A water bottle & sunscreen
A huge thank you to our volunteers for adjusting your schedules to make this new date a success. We look forward to a fun-filled day for all!
