Dear Hunnewell Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to share the purpose and importance of our All-School Assemblies. These gatherings are a special opportunity for our students to showcase their talents, whether through music, art, or other forms of expression. By doing so, they gain confidence in presenting to their peers and a larger audience, a vital skill for their overall development. Moreover, these assemblies help to strengthen our sense of community. They allow us to celebrate students’ hard work and achievements, both big and small, as they progress along their educational journey. It’s a time to reflect on and reinforce our core values of Community, Acceptance, Respect, and Effort Toward Excellence.

A special thank you to Jack Goldstein for sharing his saxophone prowess and to Isabella Conway for her beautiful violin performance at our recent assembly. Moments like these highlight the unique talents of our students and bring us all closer together as a school. Thank You to the Hunnewell “Backup Singers,” Lola Hirsch, Celina McLean-Foreman, Charlotte Bechtel, Winnie VanBiert, Bee Jeanloz, and Elli Ofanloch.

Finally, thank you, the parents, for your ongoing support. Your encouragement and involvement make events possible and contribute to the positive environment we strive to create for all students.

Thank you again. We look forward to many more assemblies filled with talent, growth, and celebration.

Dare to Dream,

Mr. Dees

A gentle reminder of the PTO Annual Appeal. Please donate if you can. The Annual Appeal helps to fund approximately half of the PTO’s budget. The suggested donation of $125 per student is helpful. However, every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
